MC Donald Denial

I don’t think that Mc Donald eating will make us look like that !Marketing sometime get me thinking how much we are in denial and easy manipulated . She is so beautiful and sexy tell me , what do you think of the food industry   A McDonald’s Ad for a new Japanese McDonald’s burger, the Tomato McGrand with a sexy female model.

My issue with McDonalds: MCDONALDS IS AN EVIL CORPORATION! Never mind the allegations of child labor in China to create happy meal toys. Ignore the numerous reports of filthy workplace conditions.
Disregard the fact that their food not only tastes like crap, but is also about as healthy for you as sh**t.
McDonald’s meal and the like – is linked with cancers of the breast and bowel, and heart disease. They are destroying rain forests in South America and they don’t give a damn on who or what they step on. McDonald’s and Burger King are two of the many US corporations using lethal poisons to destroy vast areas of Central American rainforest to create grazing pastures for cattle. They are forcing the tribal peoples in the rainforests off their ancestral territories where they have lived peacefully for thousands of years.
“NEARLY all McDonald’s advertising is aimed at children. As if to compensate for the inadequacy of their products, McDonald’s promote the consumption of meals as a ‘fun event’. This turns the act of eating into a performance, with the ‘glamour’ of being in a McDonald’s (‘Just like it is in the ads!’). ” In the last past 15 years living and traveling in Asia i saw the impact of the proliferation of Western fast food corporations like KFC, McDonald’s and Burger King . Not only do their products harm individual by making them obese but also for their environmental well-being. They are also having an influence on cultures. The rapid spread of McDonald’s and its fast-food rivals undermines indigenous cuisines and helps create a homogenous, global culture. Chinese parents want to connect their children to the world outside of China, so they reward them with a trip to McDonald’s, but in doing so they are also taking away from their culture. Another major change brought to the East by the entry by McDonald’s and American
corporations into Asian countries, is the new obsession with American culture. In addition to contributing to cultural changes in Taiwan, Thailand, Japan and China, McDonald’s has offended other
cultures through some of its actions. I remember very well when traveling in India the chain has stirred up controversy with some Hindus, many vegetarians, and some Japanese. “McDonald’s, the fast food giant currently embroiled in a row concerning undisclosed beef flavoring in French fries, has made a formal apology to those it has offended. This may seem like a petty dispute, but is not a small issue to Hindus who believe that the cow is sacred…. In response to this offense to Hindus, vegetarians, and others, McDonald’s offered an apology, and paid the groups ten million of dollars in settlement. The message is simple: Stop eating at McDonald’s today! *Some bits of this information is copied off of other sources* Editor’s note: This is a guest post from of Guylène Boutet Word Peace Leader and Teacher

I think education is the key and that should start at school and at home.

Families should learn to cook and how to use vegetables and whole foods. You can make a nutritious meal for 1, or 6 quickly with little seasonings, if you know what you’re doing. The point is not to change McDonald’s into some sort of vegetarian organisation, but to change the whole system itself. The government should step in decrease the power of the meat and dairy industry, and everything else might just be crazy enough to work!. The government says half our diet should be fruits and vegetables, but it doesn’t subsidize the farmers who grow them. Instead, half of all agriculture subsidies go to grain farmers, whose crops feed animals for meat, milk and eggs and become cheap ingredients in processed food. Subsidies encourage an abundant supply of corn, wheat, rice and soybeans. Much of the corn and soybeans is fed to livestock. Some also is turned into nutrition-poor ingredients in processed food for people. For example, pastries contain partially hydrogenated soybean oil that gives them a flaky texture, and they contain high-fructose corn syrup to sweeten their fruit filling. That translates to lots of calories, lots of artery-clogging fat and little or no fiber. In large part, the government
pays farmers who grow food for animals that become meat.
Such foods are becoming progressively cheaper, while the price of fruit and vegetables is rising. Why is it cheaper to buy cheesburgers than healthy food. THE “fact” that junk food is cheaper than real food has become a reflexive part of how we explain why so many Americans are overweight, particularly those with lower incomes. Like, when a bag of chips is cheaper than a head of broccoli or it’s more affordable to feed a family of four at McDonald’s than to cook a healthy meal for them at home. I would really like to believe that if parents and schools were truly educated about the nature of food that we should be consuming, and how much damage our disgusting diets are doing to our bodies, none of them would voluntarily feed their children Happy Meals.
